SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation. There are many layers to SEO, its very complex. It’s not a simple set and forget process.
We incorporate SEO into all our builds but to achieve the best results with SEO you need months of ongoing work especially in competitive SEO niche.
You don’t need it unless you want to rank higher on search engines and want more organic website traffic.
You also don’t need it if aren’t interested in new clients coming to your website.
No and you should beware of anyone who claims they can guarantee you a top position.
Search engines have their own individual algorithms that are constantly changing and we have no control over them.
Both Sam and Sarah are both active in the SEO community and keep up on all the latest SEO news and algorithm updates.
We can promise to do our very best for you and your business and generally we do pretty well but we cannot guarantee results as that’s simply not possible.
It depends on a lot of factors. We provide initial SEO configuration on all the websites we develop, but we have no control over Google.
It takes time and ongoing to work to get to page 1 for competitive Keywords and even once you get to page 1 it takes work to stay there. Google is always changing
Nobody can truly say how long it will take for your website to appear at the top of the search engine results page, not even the staff who work at Google.
There is plenty of paid advertising options online including social media ads, directories and Pay-per-click with Google Ads
Organic Search is the organic results and cannot be paid for
SEO is not the easiest of the fastest SEM channel as factors such as the phrase (Keyword) you are trying to target will be more difficult if there is a high number of other websites that are also targeting that particular keyword.
when you build my website do you add it to google?
On completion of your website build we configuration an SEO plugin, add Google Analytics and Google Search Console + 1 dofollow link on our website which is all you need for Google to find your site and index it
However, if you want your site to rank for certain words, other than your name, you need SEO services
can I do my own SEO?
Yes you can, to learn more about SEO first step would be to start with taking a course – We recommend SEMRush Academy Courses
SEO a very time consuming process to learn it and also to do the work. You probably found Minx Digital by using Google as its our main marketing channel
what is a Keyword?
A keyword or keyphrase is what someone uses to search google.
For examples ‘Digital Marketing Nowra’ is a keyword, ‘Nowra Digital Marketing’ is a different keyword
‘Digital Marketing’ is far more competitive so woud be known as a competitive keyword
Competitive keywords can be a bit of a battle to get the top spots as you are competing against more sites. Sites that may have been doing SEO longer than you and already have the top positions so you kinda gotta knock them off their perch so to speak 🙂
what can I do to help my SEO?
Creating unique and interesting content on a regular basis for your website is critical to increasing your visibility amongst search engines.
Google looks at over 200 things, some are hard to do without knowing how to code but content is the 1 thing that website owners can do themself to help their SEO.
